Abstract

A system for sending a data packet from a messaging device to a receiving device in a signalling network () is described. The system comprises a distributed service center () a message receiving service center (), a plurality of signalling units () for passing the data packet to the receiving device, a central routing logic () for routing the data packets and a closed network connecting at least the central routing logic () and the plurality of signalling units (). Also disclosed is a corresponding method for sending a data packet from a messaging device to a receiving device.
