Abstract

The invention relates to an acetabular prosthesis comprising an, in general, hemispherically shaped insert () having a crown () and an apex (), this insert being provided, on its outer surface (), with at least one fin. The invention is characterized in that the fin () has a face () starting from the crown () of the insert () and extending toward the apex () of the insert while forming a crest ().
