Abstract
An insert () for a patient fluid discharge tube (A) facilitates removal of the discharge tube from the patient, wherein the insert provides a smooth outer surface () and also an arrangement () for aiding in attaching a removal tool to the insert such that the end of the discharge tube may be easily grasped and pulled from the patient.
