Abstract
A medical image processing device etc. which supports work for precisely identifying the area of a diagnosis object from a medical image scanned by a medical imaging apparatus is provided. A CPU () of the medical image processing device () inputs image data and stores the same in a main memory () (S). Next, the CPU () subjects the inputted image data to threshold processing (S). Next, the CPU () stores, in the main memory (), data obtained by separating the area of the high signal values of the binarized image data into a bone region and an angiographically scanned region (S). Next, the CPU () identifies the contact area of the bone region and the angiographically scanned region from the data stored in the main memory () (S). Next, the CPU () emphasizes the contact area stored in the main memory () at the Sand displays the contact area on a display device () (S).
