Abstract
The invention relates to a machine toolcomprising a plurality of operation functions and a selection device-for selecting one or more operation functions by a user. The machine toolreceives data from a mobile data carriervia a reception device, on the basis of which it may be determined which operation functions may be performed by the user. In this process, an access control devicegrants the user access to only those selected operation functions he or she is authorized to perform.
