Abstract
A vehicle transmission () is provided that includes a casing (); a gear (), transversely mounted in the casing, that splashes up oil in the casing by rotation thereof and supplies the oil to a portion in the casing; and an air release passage () provided in the casing on an upstream side of oil flow generated by the rotation of the gear, that communicates with outside of the casing.
