Abstract

This invention relates to a durable fire retardant nonwoven fabric and method of making the same. Said fabric performs in accordance to the requirements set forth in Technical Bulletin 603 of the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs (TB_603), wherein the fire retardant fabric includes at least two layers including at least one strength and reinforcing layer.
