Disclosed is an electrical capacitance sensor comprising: a boardhaving a one main surface and an other main surface; a sensor electrodeformed on the one main surface of the boardand detecting an electrical capacitance between the sensor electrodeand an object; a first guard electrodeformed on the one main surface of the boardand in a vicinity of the sensor electrode; and a second guard electrodeformed on the other main surface of the board, wherein a first terminal connecting portionfor the first guard electrodeand a second terminal connecting portionfor the second guard electrodeare provided at positions opposing each other.
