Abstract
In a rotor structure of a permanent magnet type rotary machine comprising a cylindrical permanent magnetfixed on an outer peripheral surface of a rotor shaft, wherein torque acting on the permanent magnetis transmitted to the rotor shaft, the rotor structure further comprises two annular side platesand a holding ring. Each side plate has an axial holeinto which the rotor shaftis fitted so as to rotate with the side plates integrally and the side platesare attached on the both end surface of the permanent magnet, respectively so as to confront with each other. A circular U-shaped groovecoaxially with the axial holeis provided at a end surfacefor facing with the permanent magnetof each side plate. The holding ringis formed cylindrically and covers circumferential sections of the permanent magnetand the side platesand fasten the permanent magnetand the side platesso as to move them integrally.
