Abstract
A variable nozzle for a turbocharger () has a nozzle ring () supporting an array of vanes () that are variable in setting angle. The nozzle ring () is rotationally oriented and fixed in position by a plurality of circumferentially spaced, radially outwardly extending locating members () that engage corresponding locating grooves () in a flange member () of the turbocharger.
