Abstract
A camera blade drive device includes a base platethat has an aperture 10forming an optical path, a blade memberthat is supported by the base plateand opens or closes the aperture 10, and a driving ringprovided to rotate relative to the base plate. The camera blade drive is configured to operate the blade memberthat is linked to the rotating driving ring. A permanent magnetis provided on the driving ringand a coilrotates the driving ringby magnetic force generated when the coilis conducting. A magnetic memberholds the driving ringin a predetermined position by magnetic attraction with the permanent magnetwhen the coilis non-conducting.
