Abstract
An electrostatic atomizing device comprises an electrostatic atomizing part () applying high-voltage to water supplied to an atomization electrode (), thereby generating negatively-charged minute water particles, a positive ion generator () being configured to generate positive ions, and a controller () being configured to control operation of said electrostatic atomizing part () and said positive ion generator (). Said controller () controls so as to cause said electrostatic atomizing part () to generate the negatively-charged minute water particles, after the positive ions are generated by said positive ion generator ().
