Abstract
A shift operation device that has a simple structure and is provided with a lever knob that can absorb impact load that acts on the lever shaft in the axial direction. A coreis provided on the inside of the lever knob, and formed on the coreare screw cramps, comprising cylindrical bosses, inside which are inserted screws that fix the coreto the lever shaft. V-shaped cut-out groovesformed in the height direction of the cylindrical bosses are provided on the cylindrical partsof the screw crampsto reduce the thickness of the cylindrical parts, providing weak sites with response to the load that acts on the lever shaft in the axial direction.
