Abstract
A zoom lens barrel includes a base member, a linear cylinderfixed on the base member, a cam cylinderconfigured to be rotatable with respect to the linear cylinder, a ball memberand a pin memberprovided on the linear cylinder, and a plurality of optical component units. The cam cylinderincludes a cam groovethat the ball membercontacts and that determines a position in an optical axis direction of the cam cylinderwith respect to the linear cylinder, and a cam groovethat the pin memberengages with in a radial direction of the cam cylinderand that the pin membercontacts in two directions different from each other that are the optical axis direction.
