Abstract
A compound represented by the following formula (1) is provided as a gelling agent for gelatinizing a liquid organic compound: wherein n and m are each independently an integer of 2 to 18, Rand Rare each independently a single bond or a branched or linear alkylene group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, Ris a branched or linear alkylene group having 3 to 18 carbon atoms, and Zand Zare each independently a phenylene group or a biphenylene group.
