Abstract

The present invention provides a compound represented by the formula: wherein ring systems A and B, and the variables R, b, R, Y, Z, X, R and a are defined in the specification. The compounds of the present invention may be used in a method for treating diseases related to unregulated tyrosine kinase signal transduction, such as cancer, blood vessel proliferative disorders, fibrotic disorders, mesangial cell proliferative disorders, and metabolic diseases.
