Abstract
An alkali-free glass characterized by having a glass composition being substantially free of an alkali metal oxide, AsOand SbOand including, in terms of mol %, 55 to 75% of SiO, 7 to 15% of AlO, 7 to 12% of BO, 0 to 3% of MgO, 7 to 12% of CaO, 0 to 5% of SrO, 0 to 2% of BaO, 0 to 5% of ZnO and 0.01 to 1% of SnOand has a liquidus viscosity of 10dPa·s or higher and a temperature corresponding to a viscosity of 10dPa·s of 1,550° C. or lower.
