Abstract

A mounting structure () for receiving a sensor () having a sensing portion () and a base portion () includes a substantially flat sheet of material () having a first surface (), a second surface () opposite the first surface (), and an aperture (). The aperture () is configured such that the sensing portion () of the sensor () is passable through the aperture (), and the base portion () is not passable through the aperture (), but instead rests on the first surface (). The mounting structure () also includes a pair of tabs () that extend in a downward direction away from the second surface () of the sheet of material () and are configured to immobilize the sensor () within the aperture ().
