Abstract
The invention relates to a chain link () for an energy guiding chain, comprising two lateral links () arranged at a distance from each other and parallel to each other, and at least one frame section () connecting the lateral links () together. Each lateral link () carries an abutment device () in a first end region (), that can be connected to the lateral link () in a detachable and fixed manner, and comprises a disk () and at least one abutment element projecting from a first surface () of the disk (). Each lateral link () comprises, in its second end region (), a number of recesses (), corresponding to the number of abutment elements (), for receiving the abutment elements () of a chain link in the longitudinal direction of the chain and for defining the pivoting angle between the successive chain links. According to the invention, each lateral link () comprises a plurality of wall holes () in its first end region (), and each abutment device () comprises a number of fixing elements, corresponding to the number of wall holes (), protruding from a second surface () of the disk, which faces away from the first surface (), the fixing elements being complementary to the shape of the wall holes (), and at least partially penetrating the wall holes ().
