Abstract

The present invention relates to a terminal client (), a client device () and a network infrastructure for enabling management of messages in a telecommunications network. According to the invention, the terminal client () comprises a distributed inbox client component () that is configured to synchronize all incoming and outgoing messages with at least one other client device () that is associated with a user of a first client device (). The terminal client () further comprises a connector component () configured at least as an interface between the distributed client component () and a network infrastructure () suitable for forwarding and receiving messages. With the terminal client () incorporating in client devices associated with a user, the user is able to experience synchronized chat in real-time and can further utilize a device independent synchronous messaging service anywhere and anytime.
