Abstract
A laser source includes a laser device configured to emit laser light at a given angle with respect to a normal of an output end face; and an optical device configured to include an optical waveguide that guides and outputs the laser light. The output end face of the laser device is parallel to an input end face of the optical device, and the optical waveguide extends in a direction of θthat is given by θ=arcsin(sin θ/n), where θdenotes an outgoing angle of the laser light from the laser device, and ndenotes an effective refractive index of the optical waveguide for the laser light.
