Abstract
The invention relates to an illuminant compound for a discharge lamp (), said compound having an emission spectrum in the green spectral range and being designed to absorb the radiation emitted in the visible spectral range by an Hg source and to convert said visible radiation of the Hg source into the emission spectrum of the illuminant compound. The invention also relates to a discharge lamp comprising an illuminant compound of this type.
