Abstract
In a method of producing a transponder () an integrated circuit () is produced. The integrated circuit () is produced by applying a photoresist layer () on a surface () of a semiconductor device (), generating a patterned mask () by lithographically patterning the photoresist layer () so that the photoresist layer () comprises at least one aperture (), and filling the aperture () with a bump () by depositing the bump () on the surface () utilizing the patterned mask (). Finally, the integrated circuit (), with the patterned mask (), is attached to a substrate (), which comprises an antenna structure (). The bump () is connected electrically to the antenna structure ().
