Abstract
A fixing rolleris provided with a regulating memberthat moves in an axis direction in contact with a fixing beltthat meanders. A heating rollerthat comes close to/departs from the fixing rolleris provided with an adjustable memberthat causes the heating rollerto move in the direction orthogonal to the axis direction in linkage with movement of the regulating member. The adjustable memberdoes not move in the axis direction and moves freely in the direction orthogonal to the axis direction. The meandered fixing beltis displaced to one side of the axis direction to collide with the regulating member. The regulating memberis pushed by the fixing beltto move toward one side. The adjustable memberis pushed by the regulating memberto move in the direction orthogonal to the axis direction, and the heating rollermoves so as to depart from the fixing roller. A center distance of axes between the fixing rollerand the heating rolleron one side enlarges, and the fixing beltmoves toward the other side. Accordingly, it is possible to suppress the meandering without applying force directly to the fixing beltthat meanders.
