Abstract

The present invention relates to a novel type of noncorrosive geopolymer cement in which said cement comprises a metakaolin or a mixture of metakaolin and non-thermally activated aluminosilicate, in a weight ratio comprised between about 40:60 and about 80:20, and an alkaline silicate solution having a molar ratio MO:SiOcomprised between about 0.51 and 0.60, M representing Na or K, and to the use of a superplasticizer comprising a crosslinked acrylic acid polymer in the manufacture of geopolymer cement.
