Abstract
A transmitting sectionoutputs a transmission signal to the side of a transmission line. A first switching section Qaoutputs the transmission signal to the transmission line. A second switching section Qaoutputs the transmission signal from the transmission line. A receiving sectionreceives the transmission signal from the transmission line. A first detecting sectiondetects the transmission signal flowing through the first switching section Qa. A second detecting sectiondetects the transmission signal flowing through the second switching section Qa. When the transmission signal from the transmitting sectionis not detected at both the first and second detecting sectionsand, a selecting sectionselects the receiving sectionand outputs a reception signal.
