Abstract
A security document () in the form of a booklet which has a large number of sheets () connected to one another to form the booklet. A first sheet () of the security document has a carrier layer (), an antenna structure ()—arranged in a first region ()—for RF communication and an electronic circuit ()—connected to the antenna structure ()—with a memory device for storing data, and a communication device—connected to the antenna structure—for communicating data stored in the memory device to a reader via a radio interface by means of the antenna structure (). A second sheet () of the security document has a carrier layer () and one or more electrically conductive layers shaped in a second region () for the formation of at least one LCR resonant circuit (). The antenna structure () and the at least one LCR resonant circuit () are arranged on the respective carrier layer in such a way that, when the booklet is closed, the first region () of the first sheet () and the second region () of the second sheet () overlap at least in some regions and the at least one LCR resonant circuit () is electromagnetically coupled to the antenna structure ().
