Abstract
A blood testing device that can perform blood testing having lighting intensity independent of the number of times of piercing. The blood testing device () has a cover unit () removably installed on negative pressure chambers (). The cover unit () has a circular tube section () surrounding the optical axis of a laser unit () and having a predetermined length in the direction of the optical axis, a cover glass () placed on the optical axis of the laser unit () so as to be located at that end of the circular tube section () which is on the laser unit () side, and a slit () for interconnecting the inside of the circular tube section () and the negative pressure chamber () outside the circular tube section ().
