Abstract

The present invention provides a display device that can be provided as a final product such as a television receiver simply by assembling a display panel and a backlight and is excellent in workability in assembling the display panel to the backlight while securing a wide effective display region. The display device according to the present invention includes an LED, an LED boardon which the LEDis mounted, a liquid crystal panel, a first cabinet Ca, a second cabinet Cb, and a reflection sheet. The liquid crystal panelis configured to provide display using light from the LED. The liquid crystal panelis attached to the first cabinet Ca. The LED boardis attached to the second cabinet Cb. The reflection sheetis configured to reflect the light from the LED. The first cabinet Ca and the second cabinet Cb are engaged with each other and configured as an outer case that forms an exterior of a liquid crystal display device. The reflection sheetis arranged on the inner surface of the second cabinet Cb in a state in which the reflection sheetis supported by the LED board
