Abstract

A peptide comprising the sequence VKVKVRVKVPPTKVKVRVKV-NHforms a hydrogel which has the ability to shear-thin and recover. The hydrogel, both before and after shear-thinning, is capable of killing bacteria, including methicillin-resistant(MRSA).
