Abstract

An air pollution control system includes a desulfurization apparatusthat reduces sulfur oxide contained in flue gassupplied from a boiler; and a COrecovery apparatusincluding a COabsorberthat reduces COcontained in flue gasthat has been desulfurized by the desulfurization apparatus, with the aid of an amine absorbent and an absorbent regeneratorthat regenerates the amine absorbent. Partof desulfurized flue gascontaining SOx is supplied to treated flue gas, from which COhas been reduced and which is discharged from a top portion of the COabsorber, so that remaining mist amine accompanying the treated flue gasis neutralized to amine sulfate or amine sulfite.
