Abstract
A container () is provided with a tear-off lid () having a take out opening covered by a tear-off foil (). The cut edge () of the take out opening is bent back into the chuck wall () area. By this the bare cut edge is protected by the connection of lid and container body. This connection can be provided by a seaming connection.
