Abstract

There is provided a two-wire transmitter capable of obtaining a signal reflecting a continuous change in a sensor signal, and in addition, facilitating a configuration or processing in a subsequent stage. The two-wire transmitter that outputs an analog voltage signal Vbased upon a sensor signal Vto a transmission line Nincludes: an intermediate potential generation circuit () for generating an intermediate potential between the transmission line Nand a transmission line N; an operational amplifier () to which the sensor signal Vand a feedback signal Vare supplied; and a current source () for generating a current Iflowing from the transmission line Nto the transmission line N, based upon a control signal output from the operational amplifier (). In this situation, the control signal controls the operational amplifier () to equalize the sensor signal Vand the feedback signal V
