Abstract
A device for forming a tailored blank platehaving a thick plateconnected to a thin plateto a desired configuration is provided with a press deviceand a re-strike device. The press deviceis provided with a first punch part, a first die partand holder partsand. Between the first punch partand the first die part, the tailored blank plateis mounted and positioned so that a stepped partintersects orthogonally to punch protruding partsandof the first punch partand punch recessed partsandof the first die partto press-form the tailored blank plate. Then, the press-formed tailored blank plateis moved to the re-strike deviceto carry out a re-striking process by a second punch partand a second die part, so as obtain the tailored blank plateof a final shape.
