Abstract

Provided is a game device which allows a reduction in processing load relating to the control of player characters belonging to one team, in a case where any one of player characters belonging to another team is in possession of a moving object. A selecting section () selects one or more player characters from among player characters belonging to the team which is not in possession of a moving object. A player character control section () controls such that the player character selected by the selecting section () approaches the moving object. In a case where the moving object or the player character in possession of the moving object is located within a restriction region, a restricting section () imposes a restriction on the control to be executed by the player character control section (). A restriction region control section () changes the size of the restriction region based on game situation information.
