Abstract

The present application relates to assembling a lighting element () onto a substrate (). To enable exact positioning of the lighting element () and further optical components (), there is provided aligning the lighting element () with a support element () within one mounting plane P using an auxiliary carrier (), surface mounting the lighting element () together with the support element () onto a substrate () within one step e.g. by reflow soldering, and mounting a further component () onto the support element () such that no mechanical stress is applied to the lighting element ().
