Abstract
A pipe structure suitable for being laid in the sea comprises an inner pipe () for conveying fluid to be transported along the pipe structure and an outer pipe () around the inner pipe and supporting the inner pipe with space between the inner and outer pipes, the outer pipe having openings to allow water first to flow into the space between the inner pipe and the outer pipe and then to flow out of the space.
