Abstract
The present invention relates to an access node () comprising: An access node according to the invention is characterized in that the forwarding configuration means is coupled to the capturing means, and is further adapted to synchronize the configuration of a particular forwarding entry related to a particular hardware address (MAC@) of a particular subscriber device () with the lease of a particular network address (IP@) to the particular subscriber device. The present invention also relates to a method for self-configuring a forwarding table () in an access node ().
