Abstract
A lighting device comprises a power circuit unitthat includes a plurality of power terminalssupplied with power from a power source, a plurality of harnessesthat supply power supplied to the power circuit unit to a discharge lamp, a terminal housingthat is made of a resin material, and includes a harness holding portion, one ends of the plurality of harnesses being disposed in the harness holding portion and a part of the plurality of harnesses being held in the harness holding portion, and a plurality of welding terminalsthat includes portions disposed in the terminal housing and portions protruding outward from the terminal housing. One end portions of the plurality of welding terminals are connected to one end portions of the electric wires of the harnesses, respectively, and the other end portions of the plurality of welding terminals are connected to the power terminals of the power circuit unit by welding, respectively. Accordingly, the workability of a connecting piece for connection with a power circuit unit is improved and good connection of harnesses can be secured.
