Abstract

A cigarette package of the invention has a casing (), which includes an open end () that is opened/closed with a tongue lid (). The tongue lid () has a lid portion (), a tongue portion (), and a magnet () fixed onto the tongue portion (). A sheet () capable of being attracted to the magnet () is fixed onto a front wall () of the casing (). When the tongue lid () is in the closed position, the magnet () and the sheet () keep the tongue portion () attracted to the front wall () in cooperation with each other by using the attracting force of the magnet (). At the time of closing the tongue lid (), the tongue portion () hits the front wall () and thus makes a clap sound.
