A method for oiling the axial stops () on components () fixed on a shaft (), provided for loose wheels () arranged on the shaft. According to the method, oiling of the axial stops () occurs by supplying oil through an axially extending bore or oil duct () of the shaft () and through grooves () formed on the axial stop () with the grooves being in fluid flow connection with the oil duct ().
