Abstract
The invention relates to a drive system and to a method for monitoring a hydrostatic drive (). The hydrostatic drive () has at least one hydrostatic piston engine () on which a control unit ('), which controls the hydrostatic piston engine (′), is arranged, wherein the control unit (′) is connected to a central control device (), which controls the drive system (), via a first interface (). Control signals for controlling the drive system () can be transmitted using the first interface ().
