Abstract

An autostereoscopic display apparatus includes a plurality of colored individually addressable display elements () arranged in an array of rows and columns. A lenticular sheet () includes a plurality of light directing elements, for example lenticular elements (). A color order of the individually addressable display elements () in the row direction () provides triplets () of adjacent individually addressable display elements (), each individually addressable display element () of a triplet () being a respective one of the colors (R, G, B) of the display. The internal color order of the individually addressable display elements () within a triplet () is different for different triplets () in at least one of the row direction () and the column direction ().
