Abstract
A device for the chromatographic detection of a substance provides an improved reproducible measuring process. A monitoring indicator () is provided, which is designed to detect the relative position of a test strip () in relation to the direction of the force of gravity, wherein a processor unit () generates a shut-off signal or interruption signal for the process control system () if a limit value is exceeded.
