Abstract
The invention relates to a method for coating a cooling element () mainly made of copper, provided with water cooling pipes () and used particularly in connection with metallurgic furnaces or the like, wherein the cooling element includes a fire surface () that is in contact with molten metal, suspension or process gas; side surfaces () and an outer surface (), so that at least part of the fire surface () is coated by a corrosion resistant coating ().
