Abstract
The clamping fixture () consists of a workpiece pallet () and an actuator (). The workpiece pallet () comprises at least two clamping jaws () for clamping in place a workpiece, while the actuator () is provided for opening and closing the clamping jaws (). By means of the actuator () the clamping jaws () are material-elastically excursionable to the extent that a workpiece, after release of the actuator (), can be locked in place by the material-elastic restoring force of the clamping jaws (). Preferably the workpiece pallet () comprises a main body () provided with a slot () defined on both sides by the clamping jaws (). The clamping jaws () are material-elastic excursionable by means of the actuator () transversely to the slot (). The clamping jaws () are provided with fitted jaws () which in relation to each clamping jaw () can be shifted transversely to the slot ().
