A shoe having a lace fitting structure of the present invention includes, as its primary components, a first side panelextending in an upward or diagonally upward direction along a medial side surface in a space inside a main upperM so as to wrap around the medial side surface of the foot, and a second side panelextending in an upward or diagonally upward direction along a lateral side surface in the space inside the main upper so as to wrap around the lateral side surface of the foot, and a third eyeletprovided at a tip of each of the first and second side panelsand, shoelace means passing through and engaging with the third eyelets.
