Abstract
An irradiation surface of an electron beam irradiation deviceis directed toward a vesselconveyed by a vessel conveying deviceto thereby irradiate the vesselwith the electron beam to sterilize the vessel, an irradiation chamberis provided so as to surround the irradiation surface of the electron beam irradiation deviceand the vesselsubjected to the irradiation, a discharge chamberis provided on an outlet side of the irradiation chamber, and dry-air supply meansfor supplying a dried aseptic air is connected to the irradiation chamber. By removing moisture within the irradiation chamberwhich is irradiated with the electron beam, the changing of nitrogen oxide to nitric acid is suppressed to thereby prevent metal portions from corroding.
