Abstract

Disclosed are further improvements of AmbiLight Displaying Arrangement, a lighting or illumination system that has been introduced to enhance viewing experience. This is achieved by providing light sources () that create multiple colors next to at least one side of the screen () of the display device or arrangement, each of the multiple colors being 5 adapted to the video contents at a spatially corresponding region () of the screen (). In one embodiment the lighting or illumination system can have an improved construction wherein a reflector () has a window section () enabling the light from the light sources () to be split into two. Half or more of the light is directed to the background () of the display device and half or less of the light is directed to the bezel diffuser (), i.e. to thefront of the display device.
