In a power-driven nailing machine for driving a nail disposed within a discharge portof a nose bodyinto a work, a contact nosegiving a leading end discharge portfor guiding the nail driven from a discharge portof the nose bodytoward the work is provided to be protrusively urged toward the leading end of the nose body. In the leading end discharge portof the contact nose, a guide portionlonger than a maximum sized nail is formed from the leading end.
